Hanasu's surname comes from Energy Nede in Star Ocean: The Second Story, and her design is a love letter to Sailor Venus (notice her ribbon & long hair). I chose green hair and pinks eyes as a contrast to Satoshi's red hair and green eyes. The green also references Farah Orestead's hair color from Tales of Eternia, another Mutsumi Inomata character.
