I posted this for .hack day 2024 (ハックの日 2024), but totally forgot to post it here. ^^;;;
I made the sketch back in 2022 and had planned to make it in a painterly style...but kept struggling to finish it. Eventually I finally had the idea to do it as pixel art, but struggled with that until I finally started using my art tablet for the pixels, which made things much easier. (Rather than mouse+keyboard.)
This is my first successful attempt at isometric art. I was able to make progress thanks to grid guides posted by more experienced artists.
I'm really pleased to have it finally done! I really love how BlackRose's armor turned out, the lighting and shine is so pretty.
