I finally decided to rework on Reiko! Eee! The movie and Sonic x Shadow Generations gave me BIG inspirations that I just had to give my girl a nice upgrade 😊

Gerald Robotnik first didn’t think he would create another creature after making Shadow. His deal with Black Doom to create the Ultimate life form and soldier was his project. While Working on Project Shadow, Black Doom handed a Chao egg to Gerald as a reward before leaving since he didn’t think the egg was useful. Thus Maria took care of it. Maria continued to take care of the egg, only to see a small baby cat, Reiko, come out of it. Confused, Maria didn’t mind as she saw Reiko could be another friend Shadow could have. She eventually became Shadow’s best friend and crush.

However, as time passed, it seemed just like Shadow. Reiko had gotten her own abilities which was unknown to Gerald how that came to be. Her unique powers of luck seemed to not only protect her from any harm. But anyone who is near her. This was such a discovery, that this was the last straw G.U.N had when they decided to pull the plug at Ark. To the best of her ability, Reiko tried protecting Maria. Her luck managed to save her from a gun wound. But not Maria... Shadow blamed her for Maria’s death that day...

When Reiko was brought back to G.U.N many experiments were done on her, to the point where they even wiped her memories and reprogrammed them. They had her just in case Project Shadow was to break out and cause havoc ever again.
